Privacy policy

Our games do not collect, store or share any personal data. Hamstar has no internet permission on Android, which means it is technically unable to send anything from your device to us or to anyone else.

1. Our games

What we collect

Nothing. We operate no game servers, we run no analytics, and we receive no information about you or your device.

What is stored on your device

Hamstar saves your progress locally, in Android's standard app storage. This data never leaves your phone:

About that random identifier

The game generates a random string on first launch and stores it locally. It is not derived from your device, your account, or anything that identifies you, and it is not shared with anyone. Its only purpose is to let you quote it if you report a problem to us. Because the app cannot access the internet, it is never transmitted - if we ever see it, it is because you typed it into an email yourself.

Permissions

Hamstar requests one Android permission: VIBRATE, for haptic feedback, which you can switch off in the game. It does not request internet access, storage, location, contacts, camera or microphone.

Advertising and analytics

The current version contains no advertising and no analytics software, and no third-party SDK that collects data. If that changes, this page will be updated before the affected version is released, and the Data Safety section of our Google Play listing will be updated to match.

Purchases

In-app purchases are not enabled in the current version. If they are enabled later, payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we would never see or store your payment details.

2. This website

This site sets no cookies of our own, runs no analytics, and contains no tracking scripts. It loads no fonts, scripts or images from other companies - everything on the page is served from this domain.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. To deliver a page to you, Cloudflare necessarily handles technical information about the request, including your IP address, and uses it to protect the site from attacks. For that purpose Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie. That processing is Cloudflare's, under their privacy policy.

We do not receive those logs. We keep no record of who visited this site, which pages they read, or when.

3. Children

Our games are suitable for all ages. Because they collect no data at all, they collect no data from children either. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age.

4. Your rights

Rights such as access, correction, deletion and portability apply to personal data that a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. Game data lives on your device and is under your control - see Your data for how to remove it.

5. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version appears at this address with a new date at the top. Changes that affect what data is handled will be published before the affected version of the app is released.
